2012 Junior National Championship
Tournament
The Junior NWSA national championship
tournament for the junior division will be
hosted by the Courage Junior Twins on their
newly build wheelchair softball field
beginning on Friday, 3rd and concluding
Saturday, August 4th.

The NWSA national championship tournament
(adult division) will be hosted by the RIC
(Chicago) Cubs at the RIC Cubs’ field at
McFetridge Park and another location in
Chicago in August (date yet to be finalized)

In memoriam
Kevin Peterson, NWSA Hall of Fame member from
of the national champion St. Paul Rolling
Thunder, died on Friday, December 23rd, 2011 in
Minneapolis, Mn. Among Kevin’s wheelchair
softball accomplishments were the 1986 and 1989
Most Valuable Player of the National Wheelchair
Softball Tournament’s, Best hitter in 1986 with
a 769% and 1994 with 853%, sportsmanship in 1987
and 1989, named to the all tournament shortstop
seven times from 1986 to 2001,
